OUR STORY
40 years ago, two men had a vision. Chef Bernard Ambrosino and his friend/mentor Bill Armor wanted to create a restaurant that felt like coming home. Since 1980, that's exactly what the Silver Fox restaurant has been. From our early days as Casper's premiere fine-dining establishment right up to the more casual, comfortable restaurant that we are today, the Silver Fox exists to treat everybody, from our guests to our employees to the numerous local charities and organizations that we partner with, like family.
It is this mindset that has led to a variety of accolades, including being named the People's Choice Best Overall Restaurant in 2016, as voted for by our community. With every aged, trimmed steak that we grill, every fish we fillet, every drink that we pour, every bacon slice we knot, we want you to know that it's not just a catchphrase; you're family here.
So whether you visit us on a first date or drop by with the entire family, whether you dine in or we cater to you, whether you're joining us for the first time or we've gotten to watch you grow up for the past 36 years, every time you walk through our front doors, you'll hear the exact same thing.
The Silver Fox exists to treat everybody, from our guests to our employees to the numerous local charities and organizations that we partner with, like family.
This legacy continues through Chef Matt Oltmanns. Chef Matt worked directly under Bernard for over 20 years, soaking up anything and everything he could. He grew into an amazing executive Chef and continued Bernards legacy until his untimely passing. Now after everything Matt is a part owner of the restaurant where he grew up in next to Bernard.
